Endometriosis.... yup... It sucks...

It very plainly fucking sucks, You're in a lot of pain most of the time. If you get stressed out or upset easily then this disease is not for you. I even get a lil aggrivated at myself for not doing something or loosing something occationally and my ovaries like to give me a quick gab of cheerful pain.... not really cheerful... but After a while you start to get use to it, sort of. but every now again it just goes crazy and I explain it to my boyfriend as a war being fought out with nukes and bombs inside my tubes...lol. If you can't laugh at something that hurts, you will never be able to beat it. I try very hard to maintain a calm, chill demener so not to upset the ovary gods lol. so i'm not going to say that medication is bad or good in this case of endometriosis. i understand fully to the extent of the pain that can cause, and i myself have had to fold and take a few tylonol or aleve to relieve some of the pain. but mainly I will sit and have a bowl or two until I can no longer feel my lower half. this works great for me. I understand that Canibus is a "iffy" subject but I'm just saying it works for me. I would much rather smoke my bong then have crazy side effects like heart rate rising and blood pressure rise cause that just hurt my endo...Besides my brain comes with Canabinoid reseptors, making the whole experience much more enjoyable then crying hunched over in pain without it or with the pill medications. I myself don't care for extra chemicals in my body, they don't do anything for me, so i try not to take pills if i dont have to. And i seek out natural ways of doing and treating things. I've seen perscription drugs rip people from their friends and families in more ways then one, but I've never seen a stoner act violently toward a loved one. The side effects aren't worth the risk with all those prescription drugs and even hard druf, screw that shit. you go to a pot head and say hey wanna do herion? they're most likely going to say "fuck that shit that kills you Dumbass!". I'll do what wise people used to do. I know it may be folklore or naturalistic and whatever but man those people stayed healthy and alive for a good portion of time by treating themselves naturally with herbs and medicinal plants and just plainly being good people. It may be old technology and mannerisms but it's still usable. IN MODERATION! Medication is medication, and should only be used as that. I believe there are tons of awesome medicinal and edible plants that could help the world much better then giving our children a pill to calm their nerves, or a pill to make them step in line, or another pill that is supposed to make them not depressed. but now instead thesemedications have all these chemicals that can actually kill you if taken the wrong way or taken with another type of pill which the doctors loose or mix up... thank godness they finally are started to make doctors take time to write things out digitally.... finally we're using technology correctly!! How can something that may cause DEATH... be good for you? when there are hundreds of plants that can treat just that one symptom without any chemcal side effects or actually slim to none. I'm just rambling.... sorry. But anyways I really dislike Endometriosis... a lot it adds a little extra something to my life that i just didnt need.... thanks

So I Got A Little Bored/Creative Last Night

I was up last night again .. not sleeping.
And I realized I have lots of clay in my room.
The colors were so bright and endearing, I could resist.
So I stayed up till 5:30 this morning and Made a cute little Dead Baby Figurine.


I don't know why I like Dead Baby jokes so much but I do ... a lot!
So I found a way to laugh about the Dead Baby Jokes that I love so much. In my own specail way I made something gross and possibly wrong, into something cute and adorable, and acceptable... lol





They derived from some drawings of mine of tattoos that I wanted. I only have 2 dead Babies on me now... but soon hopefully I can get another small one.... I love tattos they're like painting on the body and it's art you'll have forever. I just wanted my tattoos to be original and ones that no one else has. My friend Josh has one too, on his forearm. The plushie doll is with another friend in CA, and I believe there is a Painting someplace running around in Taunton, MA. There will prolly be more mediums of Dead Babies in the future.

She's Appox. 2 1/2 Inches tall. 3 inches if you count the heigth of the rainbow hair.

My Very First Handmade Shirt!

Well I don't have a sewing machine but I really wanted a halter top. And well I'm unfortunately not made of money, so I wanted to make one myself. So I did!

I had to sew it all by hand and I'm not the best sewer but I think it came out pretty good. I feel wicked proud about making it myself .... maybe that's a lil silly but it makes me feel good to know that I can build something if I want it bad enough. I went through some of my old clothes and I found a skirt. I never got to wear that skirt becuase I lost so much weight last summer. But I thought it would work really well for this project.

It was a Panel skirt I didn't take any pictures of the before or during process... but I will next time I make one... But I did take a couple pictures of the Top after it was all done.

I should be making another one soon it's so easy... if I had a sewing machine it would be WAY EASIER and prolly faster.



I think it came out good... What you think for a first timer?

Treasure Hunting???

This week and last week Jon and I have been spending a lot of time out in the woods collecting different plants and herbs. Pretty much we just go out and see what new plants we can find that day. It's really a lot of fun.
So far this season we have found Chicken of the woods, Lady Slippers, False lily of the valley, Downy Rattlesnake plantains, Wintergreen with the berry, Partridge berries, common marsh violets, sweet fern, green briars, english plantains, white lettuce, prickly lettuce, wild carrots, and a bunch of other plants with tons more to find.
I'm going to be going camping an aweful lot this summer.. it's going to be amazing and I can't wait.

As of right now I am currently making the base hats to a new set of Endangered animal hats, a couple few special request hats from some friends and family back home in Oxford, Ny.

Also in other news...
Thursday May 28th 2009 My Hats will be displayed on Etsy's Showcase Section.
And if all goes well I should have some New Animal hats going up soon!!

Everything's back to Craziness...

Well I recieved my new computer in the mail today.
It's awesome and very pretty, and much better then the other one.

Today I also recieved my butterfly wing Necklaces from Malaysia...
They are absolutely stunning and holy wow
I really hope more people order from this guy

I also sold the Final Fantasy Moogle Hat on saturday and sent it out this monday afternoon to Haugesund, Norway

While my computer was broken I finished a bunch of hats

Why Hello There!

Well I guess I should Start this off by introducing myself,

Hey I'm Heather and I'm 24 almost 25 years old and I live in Taunton, Mass.
I moved here from a very small town called Oxford, Ny. where everyone knows everyone and all your neighbors spy on you to make sure you're not up to no good. lol I miss it sometimes but then I remember that there is nothing there... besides my family whom I love very much and then I'm ok with just visiting every now and again.

Well ok a little bit about me ...
I live here in Mass with my friend Josh who's father let's me live in the spare room of their house. It's wicked cool cause rent is cheap and the company is usually fun. My friends come over pretty much everyday to chill and we go play in the woods or cemetry across the road. Mostly I chill with the love of my life Jon,

and we go hiking in the woods looking for edible plants and random wildlife, or we go chill and talk about random shit for hours in my room and cuddle or whatever else we happen to want to do at that certian portion of time.
I paint too but not so much lately. I've been having an issue with painter's block. haven't felt inspired enough to paint yet in almost 5 to 6 months now. I just haven't the urge. Lately i've been making soap, hats, and candles.... but no painting saddly.... But I love making stuff whether it be cooking, building, playing, creating, crocheting, knitting, painting, drawing, sculpting.... If it's fun and keeps me busy I'll most likely try it. I love Arts and Crafts so much. They have always been a big part of my life.
When I was growing up my brother and I didn't get to go on vacations to disney land and have crazy mini malls and fancy stores everywhere in sight, we lived in a quiet old retirement town, and we weren't dirt poor but we weren't too rich either lol but we made it by with what we had. We never went hungry my parents were cool like that, and I know some people's parents weren't so I condsider myself very lucky in that fact. But anyways, My mom always made sure we had fun little arts and crafts to do when we got bored of playing outside and whatnot. We would build all sorts of crap. I remember my mom building everyone their holloween costumes and I got to help we made a giant Deady bear that an adult could wear, and another time my mom made me into a spider with 8 legs attached to me and everything.... I get a lot of my creativity from that women and I am very thankful for that.
But yeah we didn't have a lot of money so we made a lot of stuff instead of going out and wasting our money on dumb toys that would just be laying around the house doing nothing in a few days anyway.

But because of My crafty mom, my Creative loveing dad and my history with the Girl scouts (Before they started doing dumb scrap books and did cool camping survival stuff) I can pretty much figure out how to make mostly whatever I need. My main goal in life is to be self sufficient some day and live off the grid in my own world in the woods someplace with my loved ones.... :) it probably won't happen... but a girl can dream.

But I guess right at this point in my life I'm at my first real crossroad. I want to start my own business, I'm tired of working for these corporate companies that don't give a rat's ass about their employees. I've been in the work force either doing random little jobs or babysitting or pizza making, cashiering, managing, supervising for 7 years now.... it's pretty much all the same crap no matter how far up the ladder you climb. if you care about people in these corporate settings they look upon it as weakness and they will use you up as fast as they can and spit you out again. So rather then be in a rush to hurry up and find another job in that horrible world, after recently being laidoff because of these awesome economic times, i've decided to work for myself this summer while i'm collecting, to see if having my own business is a good idea or not.
So far to date I have made 26 sales on my Etsy store... and I've been open since January 2009 when I put my first listings up.

I make silly Hats that look like cartoon animals that can wear you. They make people smile and laugh when they see them .... so I enjoy making them a lot and I love that they make people laugh and giggle, and sometime even socially awkward (ei, those people that completely ignore that fact that you have a elephant attached to your head....they try to act like they don't notice it ... it's fun really)


but I make those and all natural Handmade Hemp oil Blended Soaps which smell so good that you'll want to try to eat them. but don't eat soap cause it's not good for you.


I also sell my boyfriend's 100% soy wax candles too, which compliment the soaps very nicely.


Right now in my shop I'm working on making Endangered Species Hats, that when you adopt them you also are adopting an endangered species in real life too from the World Wildlife Foundation.


But yeah That's what I do as of right now...
I make custom Orders for hats too if anyone would like one.
Any Animal, Object, creature, custom drawn idea.... etc...
Your mind is an oyster, be as creative as you would like to be!

I've never had a blog before but I think I will enjoy it. I like to write random thought all the time. most of the time it might not make a whole lot of sence but just think of it as if someone was talking out loud really.
I will try to post updates about my Etsy shop and New found Business Ownershipness... lol and my ever chaotic life and it's ever growing insane amount of crazy thoughts :)
